Jurisprudence literally means knowledge of law. It is the knowledge acquired from the systematic enquiry as to the nature, sources, elements and the binding force of law.
'Knowledge of law' is a rich jewel to acquire, and, a priced virtue to possess. Serious attempt at the acquisition of such a treasure, is not an experience to be avoided but, a privilege to be sought. The path is presumably difficult, but, is richly rewarding.
